Elon Musk is now set to give a tough competition to Reliance Jio and other telecoms in India. Elon Musk’s company Starlink is going to launch an internet service in India soon and registration for this has started on a first come first serve basis.

For your information, Starlink Internet services are controlled by SpaceX, which is an aerospace company. SpaceX was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk. Starlink India website to provide internet service in India has gone live and booking is on.

According to the report, even though pre-booking of the connection has started, the internet service may start in early 2022.

You can pre-book by going to https://www.starlink.com/. Starlink Internet is currently being pre-booked for Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. You will also get location information during booking.

For pre-booking of Starlink internet, you will have to pay $ 99 i.e. about Rs 7,300 as security, which will be for the router etc. Booking will be confirmed at your location after payment.

Explain that this security is 100% refundable, which means if you change your mind after booking, you can cancel it and withdraw the money.

Initially, during beta testing, customers will get speeds of 50–150Mbps, although Elon Musk has said that speeds of up to 300Mbps will be given after the testing is complete.

Musk has also said that there is a plan to give internet all over the world through Starlink.

According to the report, users in the USA, Australia and Mexico get the Starlink kit Start at $499, which includes everything a user needs to connect to the Internet, including a Starlink, WiFi router, power supply, cables and mounting tripod.

Starlink is finally considering delivering high-speed internet to users at 1 Gbps download or uploading speeds. So far, it offers speeds of 150 Mbps which is understood to have doubled to 300 Mbps by testing.
